Luxury Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

Set high upon the hill above the old Glen just 2 miles west of Dumfries town centre, Millhill Farm is a luxury farmhouse bed and breakfast.  We are a small working farm with free range British saddleback pigs, beef cattle, sheep and turkeys at Christmas time. Ideally situated for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. The historic towns of Castle Douglas, Thornhill, Kippford and Rockcliffe are all within half an hour away. We are also close to the 7 stanes Mountain bikes tracks at, Mabie Forest (10mins), Dalbeattie (20 mins) and Ae Forest (20 mins). Wash down facilities and storage for Mountain bikes is available here at the farm.

We also keep horses and can cater for equine visitors if required. Our hacking is on quiet lanes and we are ideally situated to explore Dumfries and Galloway on horse back.

Our accommodation has been purposely built in a way to make guests feel welcome and as if they have their own part of the house to relax in. Everything has been chosen with great care to make sure you only have the very best.

We pride ourselves on our food. We produce our own bacon and sausages from our rare breed pigs, our own free range eggs and use locally produced quality ingredients in our cooking.
