Ae Forest is one of the largest forests in Britain, and at over 10,000 hectares it’s not just for the bikers. Ae has beautiful woodland walking, horse riding, and fishing to offer. Something to suit everyone, Ae Forest’s easier Mountain Bike Trails centre on the River Ae,with plenty of stop off points for taking in the stunning views and for picnics.
Ae Forest is famous for it's own 1.6 km competition Downhill track. This course is for the experienced or truly fearless riders out there! The Ae Downhill course is regularly used for national competitions and amongst it sections is the 22ft Coffin jump. The name says it all, beware this is not one for the inexperienced riders. If Downhill Mountain Biking is your thing, ‘The Shredder’ is graded 'orange', and is a new entry level Downhill track giving you a taste of everything downhill.
